Interchangable parts for Mazda S40 - Lateral-g Forums

Im about to buy an s40 but was confused with the mazda parts. are they interchangeable with other mazdas? Seemed doing mods would be a hard job with this car, isn't it? Anyone here who have interchanged parts is free to post his or her pics.....

I have a MazdaSpeed 3, which I believe has the same brakes as the Volvo S40 T5 AWD. Since Ford owned big shares in Mazda and Volvo at the time, many parts are interchangeable. I hope this helps and that I understood the question ....
