If you watch the ebay aucitons pertaining to 69 Camaros at least twice a day there is a scam involving a car that was either previously sold or listed on the site. They always seem to have a buy it now price of 6600,6800 or DO NOT BID YOU MUST EMAIL FIRST. After awhile its somewhat comical.

we advertise cars in Old Car Trader and Hemmings..have cars posted on our web site..Those Nigerians take your picture off your site and post it up on EBAY ..They're just trying to get some deposits to hold the car. They post it way too cheap, get 10 or 20 people to send them deposits to hold the car..you guessed the rest. I have them trying to buy cars too. Got a bogus US Treasury check the other day. They buy a car for say 15K. They send you 20K..then try to get you to send the 5K difference to them before you get the check back..You tell the idiots you aren't going to do anything until the funds clear, and they still try to get you. You can read their emails and tell just from the way they write them..

I have been looking for a 69 Fastback for my brother and came across a perfect ride on ebay for $6500. On the item it said that the car belonged to her dead husband who was a freedom fighter in Iraq. He had died 6 months ago and she wanted to let the car go because of hurting memories or what ever. She was in Italy.
