Default DSE Upper Arms

Anyone know if DSE puts a serial # or part # on their upper control arms?? I found a set at a very good price, BUT I think that they might not be real (To good to be true price). I looked at pictures of them and compaired them to pictures of the DSE arms and they look the same but before I give away money I wanted to check.

I think DSE is the only manufacturer that has the caster tuner buishings in the cross shafts.

No the ones that are sold on Feebay have them also, which is why I'm not sure and I can't just go look at them.

I wasn't aware of that. I just saw them on ebay, the gussets on the cheap ones don't look the same as the DSE models.

Yah they do not look the same I even put up pictures from the ones on ebay and from DSE site and the ones I look to buy and they are very similar in looks other than the cross shaft plugs on the ebay ones look like pot metal unlike the DSE ones. I think the ones I'm looking at are real but would just like to know for sure with either the part # or serial # on the arms.

I see you said "gussets" there is a set on ebay that they look like they sent a set out for R&D (Ripoff & Duplicat). They are very similar if not exact copies. I'm sure DSE can tell the difference between theirs and the cheepos from ebay but I can't from pictures anyway.

I would contact DSE too and send them the link. If someone is selling "knock offs" of their stuff, I'm sure they would like to know

I put a wanted add on a few fourms and a guy contacted me that he has a set of upper's from DSE. He sent pictures and they looked OK but seeing how we are still talking some good money and I do not know this person I am going to take a pass. So the seach continues for used upper and maybe lowers. I would have felt better if was someone from this forum or Pro-touring but he couldn't even remmember where he saw the add.
Thanks for the replies.
