Question Shaved Drip rails on 3rd Gen Nova?

Looking for feedback on shaving drip rails, I know alot of custom guys do this on older cars, I have done a search and seen a couple of threads on here, but not many pics.I am trying to picture what my Nova would look like with out them,
Anyone have any photos of 3rd Gen Nova's with shaved drip rails?
Thanks

I'm in the process of shaving the drip rails as well. The process of cutting off the drip rail isn't bad and same with welding up the seam afterwards... what to do with the rear at the back window is my question????? Can you provide a closer pic of the rear or does anyone have finished pic of a complete shaved drip rail?

Not quite finished, but you can see how we tapered it inward toward the bottom. Sorry for the crappy pics. I attached them so you can see enlarge on your computer. Also, my drip rail mod leaves a little nub intentionally...

I'm doing it because I haven't seen a Nova with it done and I don't plan on driving the car in the rain anyway!

Will the windows leak in the rain if the windows are up? I am considering this on my 69 Camaro.
Thanks,
