Default 2nd gen interior

Has anyone covered the back plastic's before...I wanted to cover it in vinyl but was told that you have to keep it plastic because if you cover it...it becomes to thick to fit it back in place...so does anybody have any suggestions other then keep'n it plastic?

if your talking about the rear package tray cover then who ever told you that is full of bs or tried to cover with like 1" pile home carpet or something lol.
using vinyl will not cause a fit problem.. if your talking about the back side panels i still think you can get away with adding 1/16 to 1/8 inch thickness to it and still fit fine its not like they are super tight fitting..

I covered mine in tweed and had no problems putting them back on. A good interior guy can get it done.

You can cover them, We use leather and they fit fine...Some parts need a little trimming
