Default Sunoco camaro Scott Mock

Scott has been on me for months to update everyone on his car. I bought the car back in the fall from Scott after a Goodguys event that brought him close to Alabama. The next week we took the car to a SCCA autocross event. We ran top two for the heavy cars and my son set low time of the event is his Lotus 340. We have been working on the car over the winter and getting ready to hit the tracks in our area. The weak link is me and not the car! We have run two SCCA event and one two day event at Barbers Motor Sports Park. It was a PCA event with over 150 cars. It was cool to pass a bunch of GT3RS cars with a 40 year old car. Now the car runs it's new shoes, 315 fronts and 335 rears. We are planning on our first Goodguys event in May. Thanks to Scott for all the help with this fine car. The car also won the top pick at Birmingham World of Wheels, not bad for a track car!

Default Sunoco camaro

Thanks to everyone at Lateral G for helping my son Mark and my self with putting this car on the track. Watched the GP race at Barbers today. My son and I ran 15 to 20 sec. Off the best time. Many thanks to Scott for building a rocket. Our 63 corvette is plumbed and ready for paint. You can see the build at Performance Car Craft web site. We will try to visit a Goodguys event for it's first day out. This build started a year ago and has a mind of its own. Checkout the resto or autocross overbuild. The Turnkey motor turned 1283 hp. I think we have lost our mind. Let me know what you think. Thanks Mark and the camaro will always be know as the Scott Mock camaro!

Linky for those interested... Mark's '63 Vette at Performance Car Craft.

Looks great. Can't wait to see both these rides around.
