Default Coupe to Fastback

So I've got an offer to buy a 1970 coupe, needs a lot of work, floors, quarters, etc.... basically the car is free, thinking is it worth it to do a coupe to fastback conversion on? Anyone ever do this, something that can be done by the average joe with a welder and some time to learn?

I have seen it done on the early mutangs 65-66, it is time consuming. you have to see what is different from coupe to fastback, it is more than just the roof and quarters.
Check out on stangnet.com or mustangforums and search there.
Good luck!
