Maaan, I was busy and tried to rush home to watch it, but didn't make it. And from the looks of it, I didn't miss anything, huh?

I didn't watch it. Didn't feel compelled. I'm burnt out on the whole "have to have X product built by X day" like they did for years on American Chopper and all the shows of the like.

Deadlines = cut corners. Are they trying to beat the flat rate?

I agree. Why can't these networks just produce show's w/ real car guys like( DSE,Lakeside,Ironwork's,Roadster shop,to name a few) building nice cars.Show real good fabricator's not butcher's.I don't want to watch a bunch of hack's yelling, cussing, throwing thing's.Leave that BS to Jerry Springer.I wonder if Bud Bruston produced this show.Built or bust was also a bomb.

Default Re runs

The idea for this show was a Canadian (Toronto) series that ran a few years ago on Global TV.

Are there ANY new ideas for TV shows or are we forever condemned to watching re runs and re makes of older TV series.

Is originality a dying virtue ?

I agree, I enjoying seeing the craftmanship. Seeing something, anything, go from idea to completion.

Back when American Chopper was hot, I really enjoyed seeing what Nub came up with for paint and the processes he used for different effects. He's insanely talented. I would love to see a TV show just following him around, showing how he goes from talking over a project in the office to the final product coming out of the paint booth. That goes for any great craftsman and shop - many of which you mentioned - would make for a good show. There's soooo much more to building a car than how fast you can assemble it.
