Default Clay Smith Built 454 BBC - 781 Heads - Carb to pan w/ all accessories

I have an excellent Street Big Block for sale. COMPLETE from carb to pan - includes ALL accessories. Bolt in and go.

Machining and Assembly by Clay Smith Engineering in California - estimated at least 500hp / 550tq. Great street manners.


454 bored .060 over = 468ci (casting #3999289)
781 Oval Port performance heads – best flowing factory BBC head ever.
- Ported & polished by "BRIAN S." at Clay Smith (stamped name on heads)
10.5 to 1 JE Forged domed pistons
Weiand Stealth Intake
Street Performance cam - custom ground by Clay Smith Engineering
MSD Distributor
Moroso 6 qt kick out pan
APR throughout
Weiand high flow waterpump
Melling high flow oil pump
Accel wires

Includes all accessories:
- Holley fuel pump
- High Torque Racing Starter
- Alternator
- Flywheel
- Billet pulleys






Bill Mitchell Hardcore Racing 850 Holley Double Pumper Carb - $950 carb

Features include blended and equalized venturis, fixture aligned boosters, milled choke horn, high flow baseplate, squared metering gasket surfaces, screw-in air bleeds, clearance floats (drag race includes jet extensions), custom calibrated for drag race or circle track applications and progressive link-style linkage with PCI 1:1 link included. Plus all the features of their Plus Series carburetors (clear sight plugs, tube squirters, PCIsquirter screws, re-usable bowl screw and squirter gaskets, 4 corner idle, PCI idle screws, hex bowl screws and quick jet change dominator bowls).



Cylinders still show cross hatching.

I am taking the plunge and swapping over to an LS1 setup. Would consider a trade for a fuel injected setup.

$3200 obo

Can include a set of Sanderson BB2 ceramic headers for 67-69 Camaro for $300 more.

This is off topic but what kind of pulleys are those.

I have been looking for a set for my big block and I like em...

To be honest, I don't know what brand they are. I picked them up at a swap meet. Sorry I can't be more help.
