Default Any experience with the GMPP 4L85e or TCI 6X?

Considering a swap to a 4L80e setup to gain the OD and lockup capabilities. Oh, and the ability to use Twist Machine paddles just has the cool factor HA. Sort of getting a manual without hacking up the tunnel.

I ran across the GMPP 4L85e and it seems priced a little better, has some upgraded parts and is a new unit. Just not sure how it compares to an aftermarket unit.

The TCI 6X is interesting but has 2 things working against it. First, it is $high$ and second, no real world data out there on it that I can find. I will say it seems like price came down on it some though.

I have no experience with the TCI 6X but have had other TCI transmissions and every single one of them either didn't work well or leaked somewhere so my advice would be to avoid TCI.
