Question about Ls2 engines

Hi guys and gals,

I have not post much on here and got a question. I found a LS2 engine block for $600 dollars on craigslist, would it be better to have it build by someone or should I hold out for engine that LKQ have for $3300 around 80,000 miles on it?

Like Trying to get my Oldsmobile running a LS2 engine.
