Default how to get bumper the brushed look

would a bumper be to big to machine or would it just make more sence to weld one together?i painted mine and would really love the brushed look.would it be cheapest to just get it painted to resemble brushed finish

If you want a brushed look and the bumper is chrome, scotch brite and elbow grease.

The proper way to do it is send it out for chrome plating and instruct them to scuff the last coat of nickel or copper instead of polishing it, then chrome it and it will have a uniform and extremely durable brushed finish.

If you have to explain it to your plater, hang up and call Ogden Chrome.
