Default Fresh Gen IV 454 $2650

Fresh Gen IV 454 $2650

Just gone through in early June 2010 with new bearings, rings and hone. 4200 miles

Speed-Pro dome pistons

Cast crank

Hays billet steel flywheel

Cam: 500 lift on intake and exhaust / advertised duration is 282 on intake and exhaust

Rebuilt oval port cylinder heads

New Melling High Volume/High Pressure oil pump

Milodon 7 quart street/strip oil pan and pickup

Cast aluminum valve covers powder coated black

Cast aluminum timing chain cover

Holley 750 CFM Vacuum secondary carburetor with electric choke

Moroso black powder coated air cleaner with K&N filter

High volume aluminum Holley fuel pump

Edelbrock Performer dual plane intake manifold

Sanderson BB7 shorty thermal ceramic coated headers

Pertronix HEI distributor

8mm Accel spark plug wires

Summit racing mini starter

The Vintage Air frontrunner system is NOT included and will be sold seperately

This engine has excellent street performance manners making modest horsepower figures and great torque. Although we have driven the car (engine) hard at a handful of pro-touring events it has also been street driven 4200 miles this year. The only reason we are selling this is to replace it with a LS based engine to save weight. The engine is still in our Chevelle so you can hear it run and if you are really interested maybe take it for a test drive… If you have any questions feel free to call or email.

Uh - Oh! Got the LS bug. Good luck with the sale. This will be a great engine for someone.

nice motor! I'm thinking your cam specs are wrong though, no way you have the much duration @ .050 with that lift.

Thanks Jody, I was going with the specs as given to me by the motor builder, but after some more research it looks like 282 is the advertised duration. Correction has been made.
