Default Question about turbos.

well i got my t 76 today from innovative. and my front mount intercooler. im just wondering what is the most power anyone is making with a t 76 there was a radial tire mustang i heard of making 1400. is this possible? im wanting to spray nos to cool the charge but will that add power? or just cool the charge. im wanting to do like 1000 rwp. but this charger is only good to 980 at motor. id need 1250 at motor. and it is the only charger i could find with a 4 " inlet to allow me to use a filter on the street. any suggestions or ideas will help out thanks guys. ill try and get pics of it going together soon.

Gonna need to know a whole lot more about the turbo to really tell ya.

What series compressor wheel? and what trim? What size?

What a/r on the turbine?

What size motor are you running? Heads/compression, etc.

Nitrous will increase the HP as well as cool the charge.

Uhh, what made you buy a 76 just for the 4" inlet? There are plenty of cone filters with 4.5+" mounts, then again you probably wanted to know that a while ago huh

i was looking at turbonetics t88 but it had the bellows style inlet proably could have got a discount on that. but i went with the innovative t 76 because i got a evan better deal. and it will e more streetable. as im driving to the track and back every race.
