Default 68 Coupe PT pics

Hey all! I am finally going to put up some pics of my car(s).

The '68 Camaro ,I simply call it my '68 Coupe (or '68 CPE) I have owned since June of 1987. Its been through a lot of different mods and updates over the years, but as of now has a modified LS1 (400RWHP), T56 trans, modified 12 bolt rear, Global west negative roll kit & rear dela-lum bushings, 6 pt roll bar, 94 'Vette seats, and LOTS of other stuff. Its a factory air car. It has seen a few auto-x events, and LOTS of open track days
The first pic was when I did the initial mock up of the LS1 engine back in '03

This pic was taken a few years ago at PIR on an open track day at PIR. The car has changed some since then, like different wheels/tires, lower valance and some other stuff.

I currently have a set of C6/Z06 front brakes and some 18" wheels/tires getting ready to go on it.

The '67 Chevelle wagon has been an ongoing project for about 5 years now........ its almost done though. I just picked it up yesterday from getting the headliner installed. I will have to post up some more pics of it later when I get more time.
It has a 502/502 (modified), a TKO600, 12 bolt rearend, Hotchkis suspension and lots of other mods.
The car was repainted the original Marina blue and we added white paint on the top. We did a two tone blue interior, added power windows, seat heaters, 4wheel discs (front are C5 vette, rear are 4th gen Camaro), a dual zone climate control system (still working on finishing that), LOTS of sound deadener. The engine was a 502/502, then we added a 600hp head porting & cam pkg from Sallee Chevrolet. I installed a dual disc clutch last fall, and it has a bad clutch chatter since day one so I will be yanking that out next week to get it fixed. I custom built the exhaust system with 3" steel & mandrel bends to HUGE Magnaflow mufflers, then 2.5" mandrel bends out to the rear. I added a power steering cooler, the engine oil cooler is in the Ron Davis radiator. I still have a bunch of small things to work on such as cruise control, heater & A/C ducting, possibly adding rear heat & air, a custom steering wheel, and the big thing to still do is to add EFI.

I am hoping to take this car to SEMA next year.
One pic is when we very first purchased the car, the one in black and grey is after some of the rough metal work was done, then the last few thumnails were taken after paint, but prior to any interior work.

Great to have ya here Steve! I'm a friend of Dan's. I stopped by your shop a few years ago, just after you did the LS1 install and I live about a mile from you from what I remember. We need to talk about doing a tune on my car....I'll be in touch!

Hey Steve,

Cool cars! Love the wagon! As a group, we don’t get to see many nicely built hot rod wagons. Great job! We love Camaro’s but it’s great to see something a little bit different. Are you building it as a fun cruiser, or are you going to get some auto-x or track time in the seat?

Thanks for choosing Hotchkis products to build such a nice machine. Can’t wait to see it finished. When you mentioned possibly taking it to SEMA 2011, are you supposed to be in the show? If it’s there, we’ll have to check it out in person.
