Default Tinted clear

Ever since I talked to Tony Whatley's friend (I can't remember his screen name) on HRPT that had his wheel centers sprayed with tinted clear, I've been thinking about doing the same. I talked to Kurt about it, he said no problem. So I've been playing with the concept in photoshop. I guess after 3 summers of driving, I want to make a change. This would be an easy one.

1. As it is now.

2. 20%

3. 30%

4. 40%

5. 50%

6. 60%

7. 70%

8. 80%

Scott,I think your car is awesome as it is. But I think a little tinting really makes the red pop.Just find something that is right for you. Scott M.

I really like the look of numbers 6 and 7. 80% may be as good or better but 6 & 7 look better in the pics.

They make your car look more aggressive.

As do all darkly-colored wheels w/polished hoops, makes them very competitive looking...that's the main reason why I don't like full-polished wheels, too flashy for my tastes...unless it's a solid black car.

I say do it Scott, change them up if you're tired of the look...it's only color.

I am diggin 30%.
Its just subtle enough where you have to do a double take to catch it.

Scott,

Your car says crisp, clean and smooth to me. It is very much so art in my book and a look/build I greatly appreciate. I spent a bit of time looking at each of the pictures you posted and honestly the darker the tint, the less I liked the car. It's a look that doesn't complement or blend in my opinion. I say leave it the way it is.

Scott, do you have a brushed/powdercoated center on the car right now? It is kind of hard to tell from the pictures.

I personally love the look, and have been thinking of doing the same myself, but wasn't sure what the change entailed, so please keep us posted if you decide to to anything.

BTW I like the range between 30-50 percent.

Matt

personally I think the smoke tint is fighting the white stripes. I would leave it alone or silver, but it is your car, your choice at the end of the day

Thumbs up

Scott, I think it looks killer as it sits. But, if you are looking for change, I say the 30% tint looks pretty bad ass.
