9 inch detroit locker replacement

Since I mini tubbed the car the locker is making its presence known a heck of a lot more. Maybe because of the bigger tires, different suspension or a combination of both.

Yesterday I took the family for a cruise and I heard and felt the locker engage at about 30 mph, the rear end kinda jerked and clunked and the wife turns to me and says "you have your cell phone and AAA card with you right?" haha.

Anyways, it has me thinking about replacing the DL with a TrueTrac diff, from my research it looks like a much better, quieter unit.

Is there any other option for a 31 spline 9 inch?
