Default would you pay 10 bucks to ship a 2.80 cent part

i need 2 lower radiator mount clips and was ready to order thrue classic industries.they wanted 2.85 for the 2 clips then for 7 day delivery it was 10 bucks in shipping.im not cheep but that seems crazy to me when you can ship a priority box from postal service for like 6 bucks and it only takes 3 days.is it me or should i try somewhere else?

I'd pay $30 to ship a .10 part Oh wait, I've done it a few times.

It's "pay up" or do without.... not much choice in these matters sometimes.

usually when I'm faced with this type of dilemma -- I find something else in the catalog I can use... and add to the order

What I love is when you are buying something like door panel clips that could fit in an envelope with a .44 cent stamp and be good, but you have to pay $10 for S&H....logic goes out the window when building cars.

buy more to make it worth it or find a local vendor.

I would agree with Greg. I've ordered parts where the shipping/handling was almost as much as the part, so I just ordered more and the shipping was still same price. If it's a special part/piece, just have to bite the bullet.

If NPD sells it let me know, I can ship it for you no prob. I work like 2 blocks from there, so its not even really out of my way.

Classic Industries is the biggest rip-off out there...Classic Shipping is what I call them because that's where they make all their $$$.
