We have had the same problem in the past, you can try and adjust the strikers till they close but most likely you would be better off with different rubbers. We have had better luck with Soft Seal products. Good luck

x2 on Soft Seal.
We always buy two sets. One we use during panel alignment / gapping / blocking so the car is properly set with rubbers in place. They tend to get real screwed up during the process so thats where the second set come in play. Once the car is fully painted, sanded and buffed we install the second set for good. Never had any issues with the Soft Seal Products !

I have used the SoffSeal as well as the Metro, and the Metro is closer in consistency to what came on your car from GM.

Here's what others have to say on the subject:

Another trick is to use some Vaseline on the rubber.... I just use a tiny dab and spread it very thinly. It's easy to clean up but helps the DRY rubber and clean paint get along with each other when all is so new and clean. Just a thought.

I put SoftSeals on my car after the doors were aligned. The doors were perfect to begin with and after the softseals they weren't even close. I was 100% sure the doors shifted. I had Joe and Paul VanNus look at the car and Joe Said he'd bet it's the seals. We took the drives side seal off and the door looked great again. Joe recommended Metro's or Latex brand. I bought some Metro's. Installed them and the doors still looked great.

Thanks guys, seems like Metro is the one to go with.
I found some ebay shops that have great deals on them:
