Default LS Drive System...Who's better?

I need a front drive system for my LS2. I used March for my last LS7 and was happy with it and am considering either them or Vintage Air. My only downfall with Vintage Air is I wasn't happy with the black powder coating on the one in my big block. Does anyone know how the black March system is? And. who's running what?

Don't forget about Billet Specialties....

I like their stuff WAY better than the March stuff I've had. March just doesn't have good finishes... the "clear" chips... and the anodizing on the pulley surfaces wears off etc. My BS serpentine system looks brand new even after a couple years and lots of miles.

The 3-4 march systems we installed years ago were not the best fitting systems I have ever seen. You needed washers and some access to a bolt store to be able to get everything just right. Every Vintage air unit we have installed fit great and does not have that cheese crap that March puts on there systems. You can always buy yous system uncoated and treat it however you wish. Did you contact VA about your previous issue, I would think they would do whatever they could to help you. That has been my experience.

I have a VA unit on my LS7 also.

Yes, we called Vintage Air and they told us to send it back and they would re-cote it. But if I get another one and am unhappy with the finish I would have to wait again for the same thing and I'm already at my wits end with this motor/trans swap

That said I'm gonna give Billet Specialties a try, I just looked at there stuff and I like the look so lets hope the fit is just as good.

Thanks for the info Greg & Rodger

BS has nice parts. I have just used VA.

Summit is good place to get BS parts. A percent off retail and free shipping.

I just got a concept one kit for my BBC and it fit and looks much better that the March Stuff. They also now do black anodizing for the LS engines. Check em out. http://www.southernperformancesystem...-c1-ls-vs.html I cant personally vouch for the fitment on an LS but heres there stuff on my Big Block. It looks much better now with the engine together and everything cleaned back up.

Billet Specialties hands down !!!!! There polish or black parts are the best in the bizz. There parts are also engineered by a professional. March has to many issues. I'm a dealer for B.S. and would be glad to help you out.

If you want a more function than bling look, check out Wegner Automotive. They design and build their own.

Give Wegner a look - they can do any custom setup. Very easy to work with
