Default I think I got ripped off!!!

I recently contacted a company to buy a clutch, flywheel, bell housing and everything needed to use my TKO with my LQ9. I don't want to say who it is until everything is worked out. I will share my story about what happened to me.
I was sent a bell housing ,flywheel& bolts ,throwout bearing , manual clutch linkage pivot ball bracket for LS . It cost $1123.97. Seems like alot considering Pace sells similar kit for $759.00 minus the pivot ball bracket. I don't even have a itemized receipt to know what I payed for?

My problem started when I was sent the wrong bell housing and the pivot ball bracket didn't even work with my LQ9 block, no holes for it.

I contacted the place and they said send back the bellhousing and bracket and we should be able to waive the restocking fee 15%. I was already starting to get red flags at this point. So they charge me for another bell housing.

So in the end I get charged $57.60 for a restocking fee. I got credited for the second bell housing and the bracket.

At this point I'm in for about $1100 for bellhousing, flywheel, and clutch along with the throwout bearing.

I went with this company because they sounded very confident they could get what I needed to make my swap work.I made it very clear I what I had LQ9 and TKO. They picked all the parts and now it still does not function. They can't tell me why. I'm unable to get the 5-7 degrees I need for the clutch fork to be in proper position. My fork hit's the tunnel just as the throwout bearing starts to touch the clutch.

I'm very disappointed that a company can present like they know exactly what I need and end the end charge me restocking fees and $1100 worth of parts that I can't even use. I hope they make it right

If what your saying is 100% accurate, it not cool in my book. Hopefully you can get this resolved.

Not trying to be messy, but please do tell us the name soon. I'm in the market for the same pieces....clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, etc. I hope it's not the company I'm talking to. Can you send me a pm of the name so I can beware?

I may not be 100% percent accurate, but about 99%. I really have no reason to bash a company. I really would just like others to learn about my lesson, I also want to drive my car! I got over 500HP waiting for me!!!

I have got a lot of help from this forum and there are some really great vendors and people in general, that are willing to help others.

In my world I help people everyday I work. I work in the medical field. So it really bums me out when people get taken advantage of.

Your "Company" sucks. You have one of the super duty clutch forks that will not clear the tunnel. Get a stock GM clutch fork and drive...

Anthony, if the company is a supporting vendor on this site pm me with the info, and I'll contact them and see what can be done.

I have a stock GM clutch fork that I'm using. I can't get the proper angle of the clutch fork. It may be that I need an ajustable throw out bearing?

In the end I contacted the company and spoke with the person that I bought the parts from. He was very upset and could not understand why the parts would not work. I asked for a refund and was told " you are a piece of sh** " and then he hung up. I plan to send everything back and try for a refund. I called back and spoke to another person who a agrees to give a refund but I have to pay for the shipping. At some level they feel this is my fault.

This is not a supporting vendor of Lateral G.

Wow I've never had a vendor flip out and say I was a piece of sh**. As soon as refund came out the switch was turned and the nice guy turned MAD!!!

If anyone wants to know just PM me. I still need to try for a refund.

I forgot to mention that this has been going on for a month!

I think the company needs to invest in some anger management. I'm the person that should be mad!

Also I have to say 2yrs ago I bought a 12bolt from Frank at Prodigy. I could not get my rotors to work that came with my 12bolt. I contacted frank by phone he told me what needed to be done. I did it and problem was solved. great customer service!!!!
