I have mocked it up & everything looks like it is going to work. I had to slightly enlarge the firewall opening from the original 4 spd hole. I bolted the bracket on the firewall without the clutch master in it, then traced its shape on the firewall. The only thing I have not figured out is how to cover the opening. The old clutch rod had a rubber boot that attached to the firewall with 2 screws. That wont really work with the new shaped opening that I cut out. Still working on that. Scott

I'm workin on this very same thing at the moment and what I did about the whole is use a round body plug that you see all over the underside of most uni-body cars. I actually had some in my tool box and one just happens to fit perfectly in the hole I drilled in the firewall. Now I just have to cut a hole in it the right diameter and maybe a little strip caulk around it and it'll be sealed to the body of the clutch master cylinder.
I had also thought of filling the area between the bracket and the firewall with something made out of sheet metal that could have a seal attached to the edge that would press up against the firewall when the bracket was installed. Unfortunately, the little hump from the hole for the speedo cable (which I wont be using anyway but already is painted) would have made it a little more tricky so I just went the other way above.
If I had to do it over again, I would have gotten the bracket earlier and welded it into the firewall. Then the gasket on the mast cyl. would have sealed it just fine.
