Default My wife surprised me today.....

With plane tickets and room reservations for SEMA !!!!!

Staying at Bally's Nov 1-5. Air and hotel flying out of Bellingham $605 for both of us...

I don't really care what it costs, I'm just ecstatic that I get to go this year. I haven't been since 2006.

I'd love to do that for my hubby! But we're not in the industry, so I didn't think it was possible... Let me know if there is any guarenteed way to get into SEMA w/o being in the industry cause that would be awesome!!

Yep, she's a keeper alright, we met at the drag strip while I was racing Alcohol Funny Cars about 13 years ago. Now between working 60-70 hour weeks, racing motorcycles, house renos, and trying to build this Camaro, I really don't spend enough time with her at all. I don't know how she puts up with me, but I'm glad she does!

Yield2me, sorry, I don't know of a guaranteed way in. Were lucky in that way. Jenn's a trained travel agent (now running her parents commercial flooring company) and I'm a GM dealership Shop Foreman. I have the creds to get in and she has the know how to find the deals on short notice.

That's cool. I used to be a travel agent as well. I was over 9/11...
