Default 1962-65 Nova/Chevy II owners

We have adapted our popular electric trunk latch kits to even more vehicles. This kit fits 1962-65 Nova/Chevy II.
Some metal trimming is required to make the latch fit into these cars. This kit includes everything that is needed except the tools to install it. The catch that is included in this kit is not available as a reproduction item. Therefore a factory latch is used in this kit. Since these are factory items that have been discontinued and are not available as a reproduction item these kits will also be limited to supply.
We throughly inspect each catch before it is machined and then we have it zinc plated. We supply a template to show where the trunk lid needs to be trimmed.

The part number for this vehicle is MI 830 the price for this kit is $179.
Limited supply available.

GM used the same factory latch cut out on the 1962-67 Novas/Chevy II s, therefore this kit is exactly the same as our MI 810 except the catch.

Each kit contains all the necessary hardware, electrical connectors, wire, a switch, a new gasket, new electric latch, a modified factory catch, installation instructions and the template. All that is needed to install this kit is a few basic hand tools and a couple of hours.
