Default 498 bbc for sale

Going in a different direction. The motor is still in the car. Including clutch, flywheel and bellhousing. This motor has 400 miles on it. 550hp to the crank. It did 448rwhp/439rwtq on a mustang chassis dyno.

1. 454 gen IV 4 bolt (arp studded main)
2. Eagle forged 4.25" stroke crank
3. KB forged 9.5-1 pistons
4. Engine pro H-beam 6.385 rods
5. Dart Pro 1 rectangular 310cc heads w/ARP head studs
6. Edelbrock RPM air gap
7. Milodon 7qt pan with crank crapper
8. Milodon high perf oil pump.
9. Pro Systems 1000hp carb custom for motor
10. LSM hydraulic roller cam, 242/250 .595/.595 114lsa
11. Isky cam thrust face kit w/torrington&button(prevents wear on camthrust)
12. MSD billet distributor
13. March serpentine pulley with power steering.
14. Centerforce twin disk 12in clutch plate (holds 700hp)
15. Centerforce billet steel flywheel
16. Accel ceramic plug boot wire set.
17. MSD digital 6
18. Lakewood sfi bellhousing
19. Pro magnum 1.7 rockers
20. Trend performance pushrods
21. Comp cam pro magnum retro fit hyd roller lifters.


Motor was professionally built by Billy Briggs from Motor City Speed formerly of Wheel to Wheel.

The only reason I'm selling it is because I have the LS bug.

$SOLD, (please no low balling) for a complete motor ready to run with clutch and bellhousing. All you need is a car to put it in. Buyer must arrange shipping or local pickup. Are the dyno numbers that you posted correct? They seem way low for an engine built like yours.

they are correct. It was a chassis dyno. with drivetrain loss its about 550hp to the crank.

ok, I was thinking those were engine dyno numbers. I thought that mustang makes both.
