Yeah, studying never hurts LOL I knew of people that would study almost 6 months out. I always did about 3 out, because I would lose interest in it if I started too early. You have to figure out what works best for you especially with family and work/deployment schedules. I had good luck with the audio version of the PFE/PDG (yes, its boring but you are trying to better yourself) and the master the PFE/PDG on computer (test bank questions). The computer version is gold (literally), you will recognize at least 70% of the questions. They aren't exact but REALLY close........ Good luck next year 70 TWO NOVA!

Mike, How do you like Lajes? I used to go pull alert duty when I worked EC-135s many years ago. The thing I remember about it was the weather was either really good or REALLY crappy. Didn't enjoy the winters there, especially the cold 70+ MPH gusts with rain. Did you put your car in storage? I am about to. I just retired in January but my wife (who is still in) has orders to go to Chile. We leave next month for 3 years.
