Default Specs/prices/vid on the '11 Mustang GT RTR

Per Autoweek...

Dealer-installed package named RTR that upgrades the suspension, adds bigger wheels and sorta subtle exterior stripes.Ford says the RTR had the input of drifting race star Vaughn Gittin Jr. The package is launching now for the new Mustang GT. A version for the V6-power Mustang is due to arrive late this year.
The RTR package carries a suggested retail price of $7,895. For that, you get:
-- Ford Racing shocks and springs that lower the car 1.5 inches.
-- Bigger rear sway bar.
-- Cross-drilled and slotted brake rotors.
-- Falken FK452 performance tires.
-- RTR 19-inch wheels
-- K&N air filter and Ford Racing engine tuning, good for a 9-hp increase over the base 5.0-literV8's 412 hp.
-- Front chin spoiler with splitter.
-- Aluminum rear spoiler.
-- RTR badges and floor mats.
-- Ford Racing mufflers that aren't so quiet but are 50-state legal.

Did you see the RTR C on there site. Limited carbon fiber edition for 135,000.00, looks interesting. There is not much info on it but I wonder what is different. Thanks Jon S.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I just wanted to clarify a few things and answer a few questions. I saw on here.

This car is insanely priced because it is insanely expensive to build. The profit at the 135k is minimal. I will send a full spec sheet out in the near future and I think everyone will understand I went a bit overboard with the quality of the build especially the parts list. I wanted the car to be Elite and outrageous, it was not built to sell however the craftmanship is just to incredible not to at least offer a few. While it was built to be one of the most insane street cars out there the car was not built to be the most insane performing vehicle on the road, however it should run with some pretty serious cars out there esspecially if you dial in the suspension to its potential.

Absolutely there is other cars that would handle better much cheaper. This is not some get rich scheme, I did this because it is something I have wanted to do for a long time and I wanted to do something new and different which is what Mustang RTR is.

The car weighs 3355 wet. We dropped about 400lbs + prior to adding super charger, intercooler, oversize radiator, Huge brakes etc..

Thanks again for the comments, hopefully as more details are released everyone will "get it"

Personally , I think it's cool looking.

But checking the parts list, for nearly $8,000 I don't see it on the car.

I know what you mean.

But, as Autoweek said, "The RTR package carries a suggested retail price of $7,895."

Who pays retail?

When it comes to specialty Ford Mustangs, Shelby GT500's, KR's, 427R how often do you see them selling for sticker ??

Most cases dealers charge above and beyond retail on those.........just sayin. Badass looking Mustang and IMO best
looking Mustangs ever made to date, but we all know how the dealer pricing will go on these.
