Default What to paint my floors with?????

I wonder what everyone is doing with all new floors front to back and it has the EDP coating......what should I paint them with for the best sound proofing and protection.This will be a driver so show worthy is not the case here.Any insight would be appreciated.

I would spray it with SPI epoxy primer and you can also use their spray in bed liner. www.southernpolyurethanes.com

bed liner lizard skin....make sure you check the out gassing potential of what ever you use. my buddies camaro smells like a meth lab when its hot out.

Got some epoxy primer from NAPA and used a cheap gun with GREAT results! It's the way to go IMO. A lot of the pros recommend epoxy

My floor was rusty, but not rusted through. Since I didn't want to replace the floor pans, and they were still structurally solid, I painted them with POR-15 which encapsulates the rust and stops it from spreading. I know your floors are new, but if you can find something like a POR-15 that might make the floors more rust resistant, you'd be ahead of the game. Good luck.

The Eastwood company sells their version of POR15- called rust encapsulator. It's good stuff.

I will use PPG DP epoxy primer, seam seal and then use Raptor spray on bedliner.
