Default will lt1 t56 fit on a ls3 2010 camaro ss motor?

Hey guys, quick question!

Got a 69 camaro. Purchased an ls3 motor out of a 2010 camaro ss, NOT corvette. I was told by the Chevrolet dealer that an Lt1 T56 is what's needed to bolt up to that motor but then also heard that Lt1's don't bolt up to LS engines. Which is true? Thank you guys, appreciate your help!

The Chevy dealer is wrong, you could want an LS1 T56.
