Thumbs up 1969 Pro Touring Convert. Camaro

I think it’s time for a new project (just not sure what yet) so I am putting my car on Lateral-G and Pro Touring to see if there are any potential buyers…I don’t need to sell the car, so if the price doesn’t happen then I will keep it and enjoy it! If I don't get much response, I will put it on Ebay and see what happens. Most of us here know what it takes to build these cars so I’m hoping two sites that helped make the car what it is will also help sell it!

DSE Parts:

Hydro-formed front subframe serial #00041
QUADRA Link Rear suspension
DSE Stock Height Body Mounts w/stainless bolts
DSE/Koni Coilovers front and back w/250lb springs in rear
DSE Deep Tubs
DSE Subframe Connectors
DSE Ford 9” w/31 spline axles, Truetrac center section w/aluminum pinion
support, 1350 yoke and 3:70 gears, good for 800 ft/lbs torque
DSE/Baer GT brakes with 2 piece rotors w/adj. proportioning valve
DSE Brake Booster and Master Cylinder Kit
DSE billet hood hinges
DSE billet hood latch
DSE Core Support Closeout
Full Vintage Air Gen II AC complete system from DSE
DSE Steel Dash insert w/Autometer ultra-light gauges
DSE aluminum Battery mount w/Optima Red top battery
DSE 7” Bright Driver” headlight kit
DSE Selecta-Speed Wiper Kit
Probably a couple more, but you get the idea

Wheels and Tires:

Budnick Lateral w/ Fat Lip, Clear Coated
Front 18”x10” w/6.125 BS 12mm studs
Rear 18”x 10”w/5.5 BS 11/2” studs
Brushed Centers
Michel. PS2 275/18 front 335/18 rear

Drivetrain:

LME 430 LS7 w/ Katech Torquer Cam, all forged w/11.5 compression
Ported GM LS7 intake and throttle body
ATI Balancer
GM Camaro Style Accessories with custom AC bracket
Powrmax 100mm MAF
Speartech wiring harness with 24tooth computer and DBW with CRUISE CONTROL
Tuned by Ed at VIRGINIA SPEED
Textralia single disk clutch
GM Camaro T56 rebuilt for 850 ft/lbs torque w/Pro 5.0 shifter
ATS T56 conversion Kit
Lemons 17/8” into 3.5” headers for DSE subframe
Full 3” Exhaust with X-Pipe and Magnaflow Mufflers
Rick’s Aluminum Fuel tank for DSE Quadra-Link w/Bosch intank pump
Aluminum Driveshaft
Aluminum Radiator w/ Duel Fans, 160* thermostat

Interior:

Recaro Specialist S w/brackets from DSE
Rear Seat narrowed for Mini-Tub and recovered to match front Recaro’s
Full DynoMat on floor pans and interior
Pioneer Head Unit DEH-P6900UB
Pioneer 6 ¾” Front Component w/Custom Kick Panels
Blaupunkt 5” Rear Speaker
Omega Tube Style self powered Rear Subwoofer
Stock door panels and Carpet
New Power Cloth Convertible Top

Body and Paint:

BMW Estoril Blue w/ Silver stripes
99% Rust free with a few small bubbles on lower rockers
DSE Mini-Tubs
DSE Subframe Connectors
Marquez Tail Lights and front driving lights

This car has been Professionally built by the outstanding crew at G-Force Design Concepts, a company that most of us are familiar with. I can not stress how much time and care Jason and his team have put into this car and I would not hesitate to put it up against the best built cars in the business. I would drive this car across the country without even hesitating and get nearly 25mpg doing it! (Did I mention the Cruise Control)! The tune is spot on and was done by the gifted hands of Ed Hutchins at Virginia Speed.

What’s wrong with the car you ask? Well, very little. I did not paint the car when we had it apart because I didn’t want the paint jail, and it was already pretty darn good. I would safely say the paint and body are an 8.5 to 9 out of a 10. The Panels are all very good and the paint does have some chips here and there, but it is a very good street paint job, and I get compliments on the paint often. That’s really about it, everything else works the way it should.

I have over 65,000 in parts and that’s after the 30,000 I spent for the Original car over 4 years ago. I don’t know exactly how much I have in the car (didn‘t think I would ever sell it), but I know its well over 130,000. To replicate this car today would easily cost you more and take a year or more to complete. Most of the receipts are on file a G-Force Designs.

I drive the car every chance I get and can tell you it is easy to drive and with nearly 650hp it will haul ass if you choose and out handle a new Corvette with no problem!

Feel free to contact me any time at on my cell at 703-371-1109 or call G-Force for questions at 717-263-1994 if I can’t be reached (I’m a pilot for a living so if it goes to voice mail, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can).

Asking 85,000.00

I am perfectly aware of the state of the economy and such, but this is a fair price and once again I DO NOT HAVE to sell the car, so don‘t look for the deal of a lifetime with this one. I will happily talk to any serious buyers, and thanks again to everyone here that helped me over the years with this project.

Thanks,

Matt Gober

Nice looking car Matt. Nice list of "options" as well. Good asking price in my opinion.
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks guys, I think the price is as fair as it can be, and if it doesn't sell, I'll keep throwing money at it, after all, thats what keeps the addiction alive!!!

O.K., here's a bump...

I'll drop the price to 85,000.00

I'm planning on Ebay in the next month or two for more exposure. If anyone has a VERY clean stock base '69 coupe for trade I will consider it!

Thanks,

Matt
