Default Great news for Crane Cams- back in business

Im hangin out here in New Smyrna Beach just south of Daytona Beach FLA, reading the paper and come across this article "Crane Cams Resurrrected". As most know Crane Cams went down and out a year ago. They were bought by S&S Cycles and moved a couple of streets away staying in Daytona. It sounds like the cam shafts for bike engines are being ground in Daytona and autos in Wisconsin. They're getting employment incentives from the city of Daytona and hired back former employees of the old company. Cool to see a 60 year old company that had a good reputation back again. I remember buying my first cam from Crane for my first car. It was 32 years ago, a Crane Fireball, installed it in a dead stock 454 1971 chevelle ss, with a set of swap meet black jack headers and a holley 850 df dp that i paid less than 100 bucks for. I thought that car was the fastest thing on the planet- Those were the days!

Awesome news for us here in Florida, we are thrilled to have them back from a economic view. It will intertesting to see what happens. Crane's demise was NOT keeping up with the times. They will need a healthy R and D department to get their swagger back
