Yes you are correct..
altough they are just on there for fitment..

And now that I have a few minutes I'll go over the plans for the car..

So far:

Front frame and firewall are '96 Mustang..
'03 Cobra Front suspension..
4.6 4cam mod motor..
4R70W trans..
Rear frame and floor will be '88 T-bird..
8.8 disc brake rear w/3:55 gears
18x9 front
18x10 or 12 rear
I've got a set of 335's i'd like to see on the rear!!
Black w/black interior
Outward apperance will be stock '66 GT lowered with a set of wheels.
End plan, this will replace my daily driver!!

When I was kid, Very young 2-4, my dad had a fairlane GTA (i think) convert. I would love to build him another one if I had the money. He loved that car, but had to sell it.

Thats going to be a nice package when your done. That T Bird rear is independant or is it solid axle? Nice project.
