Wanna bolt your new monster 6.1 L HEMI to a transmission that can actually handle the abuse? Lets face it, a lot of the Mopar trans just aren’t as good as the GM transmissions out there. Its so much easier to build a GM trans that can be beat on without mercy……so why mess with a weaker Mopar transmission?
This adapter will allow you to mate ANY GM automatic transmission to a modern 3G 6.1 or 5.7 L HEMI. It bolts between the trans and motor, and places the starter on the driver side. The kit has been used for mock-up only (so its never been run) and includes the adapter, flywheel, spacer and ALL of the original hardware to mount the adapter and transmission. The adapter is about ¾ inch thick. These kits retail for $660.
