Default New SSBC Brakes installed

Just got these last week, got them installed today. They are from Stainless Steel Brakes, and I am very pleased with them. They look great and perform a whole lot better than the old factory calipers. It's one more step towards improving the Camaro. (You'll have to ignore the large gap of space between wheel and fender in second pic...the suspension wasn't settled from being jacked up during the install. I actually have Hotchkis lowering springs on the car.)

Very nice! It is good to see another 3rd gen getting upgrades and not rusting out in some junk yard.

I actually went with the 98+ Camaro set-up on my car. Parts are readily available, same in the V6 and V8 cars, and are cheap.

Thanks guys. The brakes feel great. I used a polishing compound and wax on the Camaro couple weekends ago. Last Friday I did the brake install, now I need the weather to get better so I can get out and do new pics this weekend. I plan on replacing the carpeting within the next couple months. (The carpeting is not in bad shape, but faded pretty bad). Try to get more and more done as much as possible.

My list of things I want to get done far outpaces the money coming in. I am sure most people have this problem.

Next on my list are either weight jacks or front suspension rebuild. Unless my wife allows me to buy a 5.3 I just found.

I feel your pain. That's why I do little bit at a time and my family take priority over the Camaro. When my son gets done with daycare, we will have a whole lot more money in the pocketbook. He goes to a top-notch daycare, and he is worth every penny.

Corey that sounds EXACTLY like what I am going through. I have one infant in a place that is not cheap, but I would not change it at all. The things he has learned while there are incredible.
