Default Tony Huntimer's Podcast!

Hey everyone,

As some of you who visit Pro-Touring.com know, I started a new media venture yesterday. It’s called “Tony’s Speed Shop”. It’s a downloadable podcast for your listening enjoyment.

I posted the first episode podcast on my website yesterday. Mary Pozzi was my first guest. We talk a lot about Autocrossing, some tickets we got when we were younger, Mopars At The Strip, Camaro Performers Magazine, and more.
Please bear with me on the sound quality (and my horrible monotone voice). Since this is my first podcast I had A LOT of technical difficulties, Mary can attest to that. In fact we lost about 40 minutes of recorded interview due to VISTA. Thanks VISTA! GAAAAA!! Anyway, the podcasting forums I’ve been reading all say that your first few podcasts won’t be perfect. The key is to simply just start doing it and improve as you go and that if you wait until you get a perfect podcast, you may never start. As far as my voice goes, as I am forced to listen to my voice, I’ll work on it too.

This podcast with Mary Pozzi is the first of two parts. Since we recorded Part1 and Part2 on the same evening, the recording of the second part is just like the first…so for that I apologize.
I’ll be posting the second part in a few days.

With my writing, I have a couple of connections in the industry, so you (and I) can look forward to more great guests coming up in the near future. The support has been very positive on this new medium. You can also look forward to some contests where you can win some free swag, just by listening and participating. Listen for the details.

In case you haven’t seen the new face of my website: http://www.racehome.com/
Here’s the page with my podcast: http://www.racehome.com/podcast.htm

Feel free to give me some feedback so I can improve the show. Tell me who you would like to hear interviewed on the show. Some big names have already agreed to be a part of this new venture. Stay Tuned!

For now, turn up the volume (the sound levels are very low) and enjoy.

Take care,
Tony Huntimer

Thanks for the support guys!

I'm posting it here since I'm not sure how many of you frequent multiple websites.

Hmmm... I'll have to figure out how to make that happen. Good point.

Default Mary Pozzi Part 2 & Contest Details up on the my website!

Hey Everyone,

I put the second part of Mary's interview up on my website. The contest details are in the podcast. I did a little more tweaking with the sound and was able to increase the volume. It's still a work in progress, but I think it's better.

Keep giving me feedback and also tell your friends if you like the show.
