Default wheel fitment and backspace nova x-body

OK, you got me I am not building a nova, but if I would have said Apollo no one whould have looked at the thread.

Does anyone know 17" wheel size for front of a GM x-body (68-72 nova, apollo, ventura, omega). I have a 17x7 with 4" back space, no tire to check with it, but the wheels fit . I want to go with a 17x8 with 4.75 BS and a 245 45 17 to match the rears of 17x9 1/2 6" BS and 275 40 17 which I have and do fit. I have 2" drop springs, and will be using stock spindles with C/4-C/5 front disk set up. thanks and hope this makes sense.
