Default Pontiac Treasures!

A buddy of mine asked me to see if I could find any Firebirds here in Southern California & I found this hidden treasure about 5 miles away from my shop.. This guy has been collecting these cars for about 25 yrs!!! His collection ranges from 67 to 81 Firebirds, Formulas, & Trans Ams... Has some GTO's also

He has 3 69 TA.. This one needs a little restoration work!

Here is a 70 TA!! I want this one!!

This one is a 77 TA..

70 Formula!!

70 Firebird!!

There are plenty more in the barn!! 72 & 73 Trans Ams.. 67 & 68 Firebirds!!
& more that he has stored @ home

Cris -- What a find!

Here's what I've never ever been able to understand.... why do people pile this stuff up and never do anything with it... it just sits there and wastes away...

Thank gawd they do it -- to "save" them for the rest of us.... but I'll never understand a yard full of "crap" sitting for years... when they could have sold it all and had ONE really nice car.

Greg its called hoarding LOL

Nice find Chris, Im assuming the guy has had offers to sell for years, from the photos it looks like somebody could spot these during a drive by. Any photos and condition of the ones in the barn.

I am going to catch this guy if I am not careful. I am grabbing another TA tomorrow, will make 2 in 2 weeks, and have one coming in for the treatment next week. Soon will be Prodigy Customs Trans Am experts, LOL!

I agree with you Greg.. I just don't understand why the guy never stored the 69 & 70 TA indoors.. They are some rare cars.. We are only about 6 miles away from the ocean.. We get rusty cars here..

Not trying to jack the thread -- it's a killer thread!

Up here - you drive by the poorest neighborhoods and they have the most stuff in their yards... Satellite TV dishes - Trucks with campers or trailers - fishing boats... a couple of junkers with the weeds... AND this is what gets me --- a blue tarp on the roof because it's leaking. I'm the kind - that if that were the case for my house - I'd be looking around for something to sell so I could fix the friggin' leak... I guess I'm just weird.

The "hoarders" (good one NVR!) always have all this STUFF... and then you see the guy and they have rotten teeth... yellow fingers... bib overalls (nothing wrong with those) and you'd think they couldn't find a $20 in their pocket. Amazing. And like I said - you have to thank someone for them - 'cause they got the stuff we want!!

Send me a PM with the price on any of the '69 T/A's, if you don't mind.
