Default engine machine shop in AZ

Does anyone know a good reputable engine shop in Arizona that works on LS motors?

I thought they only did tuning stuff, not actual machine work. I might be wrong on that though.
I'm talking about boring and blueprint and balancing LS motors

When it comes to machine work it's all about finding the right guys, not the closest. I have been really impressed with Jason Pettis in Hesperia, CA so far. Not terribly far from you. www.pettisperformance.com

I also heard a rumor recently that Arizona Speed and Marine went belly up. That is just a rumor at this point, but from what I've heard of their business practices I wouldn't be too surprised.

Beck racing engines has a nice facility but I'm not sure if they do just machine work.

Yeah, I hate to perpetuate rumors via the internet, and they're way too far away from me to swing by on a weekday to validate said rumor, but it's something worth considering. For every satisfied customer of theirs that I know of, I've talked to three more that were not satisfied.

Of the shops that I have dealt with, I am happy with Brian Duffee off of Union Hills and about 41st Ave; and Standard Machine in Glendale. Haven't had any LS stuff done. Some buddies use Zimmerman, and Larrys in Tucson.

Stay away from beck racing engines. If you want to know why just google them.

Arizona Speed and Marine have had a soso reputation so I wouldn't be surprised if they have gone out of business. website still works but doesn't look like it has been updated in a while.
