Default Spent time with legend Peter Brock

Today, I had the honor of spending some time with legend, Peter Brock. For those who don't know, Peter Brock penned the split window vette while working at GM design. Then he went on to design the Cobra Daytona coupe for Carroll Shelby. Peter Brock also founded a successful race team known as Brock Racing Enterprises, BRE. The coolest Datsuns of all time came from his shop.

For fun, he recently built a pro-touring Datsun 510 with a small block Chevy. Well today, I had the pleasure of showing him around my car and provide some insight into pro-touring as we know it. It didn't take much explanation. Peter Brock pointed and poked at all the key elements that make up a pro-touring car.

If you would like to meet this living legend in person, Peter Brock will serve as the Grand Marshal at the Classic Motorsports Mitty at Road Atlanta: April 30-May 2 2010.

I met him at Black Rock Desert in 1997, he took an awesome photo of Craig Breedlove with Spirit of America, I have a signed one on my wall. A brilliant guy, he also has a great car trailer design that is very aerodynamic. The top of it looks like an upside down boat.
