Default G-Force '62 Impala

Hey guys and gals.

Some of you may have seen it on other forums, and social networking sites, for those that havent seen it yet, take a look at it. Critiques are encouraged.

Jason, and the guys at G-Force Design Concepts contacted me to do a little somethin' for them working with a '62 Impala. They had an overall idea for paint, but wanted to see it. I conjured up a stripe similar to the AAR Cuda stripe, and enforced the scheme that we had talked about. The color is Prowler Orange, the stripe along with practically all the trim is Charcoal. Rushforth Whiplashes with charcoal centers and brushed hoops finish setting the look off.

Enjoy.

looks awesome, have you thought about having the hash marks flow with the body lines (angle other direction), or were they done that way on purpose?

I like it but I think the trim above the stripe is alittle off. What about doing a complete wrap around of the trim around the stripe from the front to back.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

As far as the direction of stripe.. It does follow the angle of the car, the front fender angle. Why I didn't go with rear angle is simple, angle of acceleration, going the opposite way is like slamming on the brakes...which wouldn't be a bad thing since this is a pro touring forum, but you guys understand lol

The trim should be correct, I'm constantly looking at something while doing my line drawings, there's a small detailed area within the door that's off, it's a little downsweep withing the shape of the stainless. If Im correct, the trim has a sticker inlay? A machine turned look? the look for this car will be powderscoated on the inlay, and brushed outters. I didn't give a wrap-around trim idea a thought, it would have to either be made, or painted. I could try it.

As far as mechanical detail, I'm not sure of anything. I would have to call Jason. I do know, there's practically no body mods, most of the look is just with paint and powder coat.

Again, thanks for the feedback, keep it coming!
