Default Owners of Rick's Tank?

Got a questions about Rick's tank. I've just sent him an email with this same question but since it's Saturday and I'm wanting to install now I'm looking for a quick response. First let me state the appearance of the tank is excellent and Hector has been very very good with all my questions and I would go through him again so this by no means is a bashing. Keep in mind I'm a novice and learning as I go. My tank is an EFI tank going into a 68 firebird. I'm going to use a carb. set up with a send and return line. Here's the question, I just opened the box lifted the tank and there's something loose inside the tank that slides around as you tilt it side to side that is very noticeable, Is this normal/ok? It has the Walbro pump mounted inside the tank. There is absolutely no damage to the outside of the tank or box it came in. Can I go ahead and install or is there a problem? I bought when Hector had the 1 day sale going on a month or so ago. Looking for advice from those of you that have this tank, other wise I will wait and talk with Hector on Monday
Thanks again ahead of time.

I don't know Trey I'll check, but it almost sounds like a small sheet of loose metal sliding around.
Thanks

Does it have the fuel gauge sender in it. I ordered one from summit for my truck and when i got it it sounded like it had something in it. When i opened mine it was the sender movin around. The check valve makes some noise to.
Might not be the case with urs but never know.

Possibly a "trap door" baffle? I have no idea if Ricks builds them that way. Just a thought.

Should have a float for the tank sender in it.... that would "flop" up and down when you turn the tank...

Also -- why don't you just open it up and look??

The sender wouldn't make any noise unless you flipped it upside down. I'm also guessing trap door but I'd open it up to double check there work.

Thanks guys for the helpful responses, will open it up and take a look, just didn't want to void anything. Greg, I'm patiently waiting for you to come over and do the install, tank to carb,
And on that note, back out to the garage.
