Default Not getting any response on the other site.. Accessory drive for LS7 question.

quick question fellas..

Would a front accessory drive from a 2007 tahoe 5.3 engine work on my Ls7? im not running AC either..

i found a bomb deal on a whole complete engine WITH the accessory drive for what i would have paid for just a stock corvette system.

i heard the truck drives are alittle further forward than the corvette one.. anyone know or have experience with it?

gotta know soon cause going to see/buy the engine tomorrow.

thanks fellas!

A.

sits too far forward and unless they changed the location of the accessories, the alt sits way too high on the passenger side. Besides, the truck accessories are hideous. The LS7 accessories I believe are specific to the engine do to the front cover and dry sump oiling system.

I think the balancer location is different because the crank snout is longer for the dry sump. I may be able to help you out with some of the stuff you need. PM me.
