Question PerformaBuilt Transmission ?

I'm thinking about upgrading to a "built" 700r4 and have been doing some internet research. I came across this company and noticed their prices were much better than the compitition. What's the deal? I'm pushing a little over 500 RWH and I can get one of their transmissions for under 2k. I've checked some of the message boards and see both positive and negative feedback. Normal, I guess, for a company in the trans business. Anyone have any first hand knowledge/dealings with this company?

Thanks,
Mike

I have never used anything from performabuilt, but I have used SW performance transmissions in Huntington Beach. Steve built me a strong 700R4! Steve is one hell of a nice guy and his pricing is more than fair. Give him a call 714-843-3237.

I've purchased from performabuilt before. Bought a converter, flexplate, and a few small items from him for my WS6. He was very helpful with all questions I had along the way. I'd buy from him again.

You can also check with Jakes Performance out of Texas. I have heard a lot of good things about his rebuilds.
