Default Another phone "down the drain"

So tonight when I got home I set my cell phone on the bathroom counter. I bet you can already see where this is going. It was set to vibrate mode for incoming calls. Well I got a call and while I was in the other room taking care of my son it "vibrated" it's way right into the toilet. The phone is dead.

It got me thinking of how many phones and other items of value I have dropped in toilets over the years. So far I have lost 2 Nextel phones, 2 personal cell phones, 4 or 5 tape measures, a really nice knife, one wallet with EVERYTHING in it(while out of town for work) and maybe a couple packs of smokes too.
Now before everyone goes off thinking I am a TOTAL idiot (I am only a partial idiot, thank you) these all happened on job sites and involved "Honey Buckets" (of which there is no honey in. Ever.) I have NEVER gone after ANYTHING I dropped in these either. If it falls it is gone. Period. With the exception of the phone tonight. It was MY tiolet and it is VERY clean. I did not want to try and flush it only to have to call a plumber later. I will not be using this phone ever again. It will never be near my face. Ever.

How many of you have dropped items of value in tiolets? List them up.
I already feel totally stupid so now maybe someone can make me feel like I am not the only one to suffer this kind of thing. Then again, maybe I will still feel pretty stupid.

You have penis hands then, you **** everything you touch.
Meh, it doesn't has the same effect that it has in spanish with my friends, it's different :p

Bad news, seriously, what phone was it? Get a Nokia, those ones handle two holocausts, 4 world endings, a fat kid sitting on it, a baseball game and a squirrel with giant nuts.

Man as long as there wasn't any 1 or 2 in the bowl I'd be using it. With cellphone contracts and the prices of new phones WTH. Wipe it down with a Lysol wipe and drop the phone in a bowl of rice, it soaks up the water and the phone should be fine.

Ok,let's be clear on this. THERE WAS NOTHING BUT WATER IN THE BOWL.

I did try to dry it out. It is fried. It will power up but the key pad does not work. And after about 2 minutes the screen goes white. The real bummer is that all of my numbers were saved to the phone and not the sim card. I was able to find an old phone and put the sim card in it so I do have a functioning phone now. Just no numbers to call.

Put it in the oven...I'm serious I've saved a few phones that way. I live next to a lake and my phone loves to swim.
