Default 68 G-machine Camaro for sale

Hello Lateral-G freinds and Happy New Year!

I have been apart of this community for a few years and have very much enjoyed the pictures and conversations on this site. Have learned a lot from you and appreciate what this forum provides.

I recently moved to an area where g-machines have not caught on, I am sure it will, but may take a few years. That being said I have gotten a little bored and ready for the next project.

This camaro has been a blast and if does not sell, I will have some fun going to the next level with it- so either way its a win/win.

If you are looking for a very clean professionally built "canyon-carving" 68 camaro, with all best labor and parts money can buy, then this is the car for you.

It's been in two magazines.

A little history on the car purchased in Southern California just north of the LA area, original very clean 6 cylinder 3 speed on the column car. The final phase of this build was completed in 2007-- installing DSE's Quadralink. The camaro has seen 11,000 miles since restoration to include the engine. Car has only seen rain a couple times since the restoration.

Here are a handful of go fast and handling goodies you get with this Camaro:

Engine Compartment
540 Big Block professionally built by Cropper Racing engines in Flemingsburg KY
760 Hp and 755 tq dyno sheets if requested idles around 700 rpm and 15 mpg on highway
MSD 6AL Box with Rev. Limiter set at 6,000 rpm--dyno actually peaked at 6200 on HP but want to keep the engine healthy
Vintage Air Polished Front Runner System-chrome pulleys, polished compressor with hardlines, polished 140 amp alternator--
AC(Gen 2 Technology) blows very cool air in the hot summer months
DSE Firewall Fill Plate
DSE Billet Hood Hinges(black Anodized)
BeCool module system with crossflow aluminum Radiator and high-torque SPAL Fans keeps engine cool even very hot cruising conditions--this car stays around 180 to 200 degrees on the hottest day with the AC on--i have been very happy with BeCool's product with this mountain motor.
Merlin III Block
"Big Brodie" Brodix Aluminum Heads
Brodix Intake
Comp Cam hydraulic Roller (646 lift 248/254 duration) and comp valve trane,
10 1/4 compression
DSE selecta-speed wiper kit
DSE anodized black billet Hood Hinges
Transmission
New (bullet proof) Richmond 5 speed with over drive (1000 miles on tranny) with Long Shifter
New Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch(100 miles on clutch) and new fly-wheel
Induction
1000 cfm Holley (professionally built by Wilson Competition) with a 1/2" inch spacer
Brakes Front
Baer 13" Cross Drilled (Baer Claw Track)
Brakes Rear
Baer 12.5" Cross Drilled with emergency brake
Adjustable Proportioning Valve
Manual Baer Master Cylinder
Suspension
DSE upper and Lower control arms
DSE coilover bracketry
DSE Front End Service Kit
DSE Tubular Tie Rod Adjusters
DSE billet aluminum body mounts 1/2 height with Stainless Steel polished bolts and nuts
Front and Rear 4 way Adjustable Koni Coilovers shocks
DSE Frame Connectors
DSE front Sway Bar
Roll Cage with removable center bar
DSE Quadralink
DSE 600 steering Gear and rag joint(ceramic coated 12:7:1) with their Stainless Steel hose kit
DSE Deep Mini Tubs with shock tower
DSE Stainless Steel Narrowed Fuel Tank with 0-90 ohm fuel sending unit
Rear End
Ford 9" with Mosier 31 spline axles with axle tube and housing support bracket
Detroit Locker True Trac
3:08 Richmond Gear
Wheels
Budnik Tiller 5's
Front 17 x 8
Rear 17 x 11
Tires
New BF Goodwrench KD's(have 2000 miles on them)
315's Rear
245's front
Stereo
Secret Audio system (keeping the AM radio in the car for stock look) w/11 disc changer and AM/FM receiver with remote
JBL Amp and Pioneer speakers
Optima battery (yellow top)
DSE battery relocation kit
DSE Aluminum Optima Battery Mount Kit

Outside of car:
The paint color is Lemanz Blue and was painted in 2006 and still looks great we were also able to keep all the original GM metal--original GM color of car you will note the hood is black. This is a new cowl hood and DSE billet hinges. I had a 5 inch cowl hood and recently sold and went with the hood you see now, that is why the hood is still black and needs painted. All the chrome that could be replaced was replaced to include bumpers, door handles, side light reflectors, tail lights--everything--have all receipts.

Interior
I have always liked the stock look of a camaro. So we kept the interior pretty much stock looking inside with 68 camaro front and rear seats and console. Autometer gauges in console and 5" in diameter RPM gauge and 5" in diameter Speedo in dash. Also installed 5 point Schroth racing harnesses up front.

GM Tilt Wheel

This is not a trailer queen and has been driven in power tours and many other cruise events around the Country. You will not find a better driving and handling classic 68 camaro.

I can not tell you how impressed i have been with DSE and their suspension components. Especially the QuadraLink-huge differance in handling and ride. As you can see i have purchased pretty much everything they have.

I am askin $72,500 firm. I live in the Northwest AR area.

Thanks again and please send me a email with any questions to Greg @ [email protected]. I have tons more info i can share and lots of pics and videos if you are interested.

Greg
