Default SplitterVision from the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational

Sorry it took a while to get the videos edited - everything was shot with the new GoPro Hero HD cameras in 720p (since youtube wont take 1080p yet).

Road Course (orientation) - following David Pozzi in Bad Penny as he shows us the line for a couple of laps. The first lap is a well needed warm up that I was probably to cautious on but after spinning the tires hard between first and second I figured I'd give the tires a minute to warm up before doing something unfortunate.

I have some more (and probably better) video that I can post but size and time constraints on youtube are a limiting factor

Ridetech Autocross - we did well in the autocross (raw times) with my best two runs being a 44.4 and a 44.5 but had a mental fart on both runs and took a 5 second penalty for rolling the stop - not bad though considering I wasn't running race tires.

SpitterVision (44.5 second run)

Same run - different view

Baer Speed Stop Challenge - this was probably the most frustrating event for me since I was never able to see the "60 mph" light. My first run I hit 85 mph and had reached the start of a bunch of skid marks before I said to myself "light or no light - time to stop". On my following runs I think I hit between 68 and 72... not great but a ton better the eighty-freaking-five...

SplitterVision (85 mph)

SplitterVision (70 mph)

We never did get a chance to run the road course for a timed run... we were the next car in line at the end of the day when the K&N decided to blow its differential in to next week. It was a great time though and a marked improvement over last year. I think that if we were in the competition and had set the car up for that (ie. run A6's and not year old R888's) we would have surprised a few people. It was a great event regardless and as always, it was awesome to see such incredible cars being whooped on.

And a quick blooper reel showing why we started with two cameras and finished with one...

Cool videos. That last one was kind of funny, it got a good shot of you going around the other side of the track. That is a testament to the durability of the camera though!

Thanks for posting all of these!

Yea, sorta cool it landed like that... I guess it's hard to argue that you didn't hit a cone on that run... lol
