Default Does anyone have access to a free Carfax report?

I am about to buy a wrecked 2005 corvette and want to know if any of you guys have access to the carfax website. He says it was wrecked in the front but I also think it's a flood vehicle because of the smell and the mild mold on the interior. This guy told me it smells like that because it had a broken window for a while. This guy also lives out in the middle of no where so I am kind of worried. And he doesn't have a key. So who knows how he got this car.

Here's the VIN# 1G1YY24U355110130

PASS!! Trust your gut. If it feels wrong it probably is. Once your money is out of your hands you have little to no recourse. There will be other deals. Do not get emotionally involved. It is only a car. There are SO MANY vettes available out there. You do not have to risk a bad deal. Sounds like the guy has an excuse for every peoblem the car has.

You are right in so many ways. I just want it for the motor. It has 38,000 miles on it. The entire drivetrain, suspension, wheels, interior are all good. So many good parts. Hard to pass up a great deal.

PM me the deal if you dont mind. Keep in mind that interior may be ruined because of the water damage. Some of it may look ok now but down the road there will be issues. I am curious what he wants for it.

In fact the entire electronics may have issues from water damage. There are a lot of great deals on those cars and parts. Many with a guarantee from reputable dealers.

What state? Did he ever tell you how he got it or where it came from? Why is he selling it? NO KEY?? WHY??

I could be totally wrong here. It may be a screaming deal. But trust your gut, it's usually right.
