Default halloween hot rod style

finally got to use the english wheel.check out our halloween costume made by me and my 9 year old son.he wanted to make a metal mask and some body armor with a battle wonded look.ok I said lets go out in the shop and see what we can do.this is what we came up with.spending time with my boy with shop time what could be better.he also airbrushed it and cut some of the pieces out on the bandsaw.as well as created the stencils to paint.life is better when your kids are there to share it with you.let me kow what you think.

My kids are in college now - and I truly miss the time we used to spend on "crafts" and various school projects etc. My daughter is still home - but between working PT and classes -- and homework we only get a couple hours a day of face time. Still - she'll come down to the shed to check out what's getting done - and is always interested in how stuff works etc.

Great costume! Reminds me of when Alex and I made a "Teenage Ninja Turtle" version. He wore it for days!

I like the green smiley, and the pic where hes holding up the helmet. I'm sure he will never forget this halloween?
