Same thing I thought when I saw this. Wish I had some extra cash for the DSE and Ricks tank

Anyone know what the diff is between the 69 tank and the ones for 67-68. Is it the filler neck? If I could make it work on my 68 I'd be all over it.

The filler neck on the 67-68 comes out in the tail panel between the tail lights and the 69 come out under the bumper. Go to Jeg's site and look at both to see the difference.

I have a 69 tank in my 67. (had a DSE/Rock Valley now a Rick's) You will need to modify the trunk floor some as well as the rear lower valence. Although there is a hole behind the license plate, it needs to be enlarged.

Wayne, I want to say thanks, but in many ways I wish I wouldn't have seen the tank--I bought it tonight---I can't help myself. Thanks for feeding the rabid addiction.

Doug you know you needed it! Actually that's a great price! Is it a carb or efi tank?

Tony, it's setup for Carb. That will work for the next year or so as that is what I'm using. I called Rick's and asked about the conversion to EFI, it was very cheap if it's his tank. That's what sold me on it.

BTW, the sending unit in my stock tank stopped working a couple weeks ago--that's how I justified the $550 purchase---sick, I know.
