Default Vintage air frontrunner price?

Well I am at that point in my build that I think I may have to buy a front drive asssembly for my LS2. The motor is out of a 06 GTO. It obviously has all the factory brackets, but I want to install Vintage Air in it. I called them and they told me I cannot run the factory compressor and that I need their compressor, which I understand. My other problem is that I installed a rack and pinion on the car and am having clearance issues with the alternator and bracket. I need to move the alternator up higher due to it hitting the steering shaft. So what do I do, do I spend the money on the front runner setup or try and go a differnet route. By the way I don't want steel brakets either, I would like it to look nice. However I really do not want to spend all that money but if I have to I was wondering where the best deal may be obtained. I prefer to buy from a sponsor of this site.

Are you sure you cant go with the stock acc drive ?

You can mount the VA compressor to stock AC mount with custom adapter bracket. Many have done it here.

I'm a Vintage Air dealer and could make you a good deal. Vintage Air has great product. Email me and we can discuss the various options that they offer.

My email is [email protected]

Yes I probably could do that, however the alternator needs to be relocated up to the top of the motor.

Don't want to step on any toes....I am sure I can give you a killer price & help you sort out any questions you may have-we've run MANY of these kits. Otherwise, you're in good hands with Rodger

I am going to try and fab up some brackets and see if they will work first. I like the way the Vintage stuff looks but man I just have a hard time spending over $2k on it. Thanks for the replies if I decide to go that route I will shop from a sponsor.
